Minato-no-mieru-oka Park

I looked at the Yokohama Bay Bridge from the top of the hill and opened my mind to Yokohama Port at that time.

Yokohama Port is one of the famous sightseeing spots in Yokohama located on a high platform overlooking Yokohama Port, and Yokohama Port can be seen from the observation deck in its name. In addition, there are Yokohama Irisis Pavilion and Yamano 111 Pavilion in the park. In 2016, the area that has been paved as a rosewood area is renowned as “Inglissue Rouge Garden”, and it is possible to park in various parks where various roses and flowers can be enjoyed throughout the four seasons.

Compared with the opening of the park in 1962, the scenery of the port has not changed much, and as a park where the Yokohama Bay Bridge can be seen in the distance,

Around 100 species, 500 shrines of blooming flowers, “Rosa gardens of fragrance” are the form of the left and right symmetry gardens, which can be seen at the fountain of the Great Buddha Jiro Memorial Hall.
Approximately 330 species and 2,200 varieties of barracudas are planted in the park.

The former Consulate General of the United Kingdom is now available as the “Yokohama City Igillis”.

Yokohama Foreign Nation Cemetery is near here, and its history has led to the burial of soldiers who came to Japan from the black ship fleet at the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate, and currently about 5,000 people are sleeping in this land.
The museum is now open except for the closed days (every Monday), but only the soil, the day, and the celebration are entered every week in the graveyard itself.

The “foreigners” who sleep in the cemetery are also various in their nationality and religion, and the graves of the tombs are also various, and the tombs of those who contributed to the modern history and culture of Japan are few.
